When Can the Ayush Homam Be Performed?
Ayush Homam is typically performed on the birthday or Janma Nakshatra (birth star) day each year. For children, this homam is conducted on their birthdays. Adults can perform it on their nakshatra day each month, while elders can do so when suffering from long-term illnesses or paralysis.
What is the Cost of Ayush Homam?
The Ayush Homam, along with additional puja, is conducted by our priests over three weeks, taking place every Friday. Each session lasts at least forty-five minutes. At Vivah Direct Solutions, the cost of the Ayush Homam is 11,500 Indian Rupees.
Who Can Perform Ayush Homam?
Ayush Homam should be performed on an individual’s birth star or nakshatra day, which is based on the individual’s lunar calendar rather than the English calendar. Each month has a designated nakshatra day for each individual to perform this ritual. This day is considered powerful and effective for receiving divine blessings and siddhis (spiritual powers). Bhrama Muhurtham or other auspicious hours are ideal for conducting the Ayush ritual. Additionally, Mrityunjaya and Saptha Tiraviya homams are often included with the Ayush Homam.
